Xie Zhuoyan graduated with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and later completed his MPhil in Engineering at the University of Cambridge. He is now pursuing a PhD at The University of Hong Kong. His research interests span the structural behavior of beam-to-column connections, structural health monitoring systems, wind engineering, and topology optimization. With a strong foundation in structural engineering, applied mathematics, and advanced computational tools such as Abaqus, ETABS, Revit and Rhino, he integrates rigorous academic training with practical engineering insight.
