Based on the dynamic and ever-changing urban environment of the Greater Bay Area, the [S]Equilibrium Lab of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is based on the concept of structural equilibrium, and is design-oriented to think about the cross-research and in-depth discussion of structure and space, material and utility, teaching and narrative around a sustainable urban future. It extends the engineering and scientific attributes of structures under technical representations to respond to the changing urban needs and architectural practices.
